People who are always in self appraisal mode may be prone to failure but people who are victim of self criticism are more dangerous to themselves. They can totally break or destroy themselves and finally go for suicide or total collapse .
Its best to have balanced approach but if you are not able to adapt balanced approach, its better to be in self appraisal mode than being in self criticism mode.
Self-criticism is an effective but dangerous drug. Too big a dose can kill your confidence and seriously spoil your mental health.
It is good when its done for cultivating humility and self improvement but dangerous when it converts into depression.
The popular line of a great actor is :
“Fear is the biggest motivator ”
But its good for the people who have that much inner strength but it is dangerous when converts to lowness”.
Its said in Hindi “Chita marey huye shareer ko khaati hai lekin chinta jinda ko kha jaati hai”,
Means Chita ( The fire in which Hindus burn dead body after after death) burns the dead man but Chinta( Worry) burns the living person.
Living in the guilt feeling is like living in hell
What all self critics say :
- I’m a failure.
- I can’t do anything right.
- I’m not good enough.
- I’ll never get better.
How to overcome Depression: Some Effective Remedies
Thoughts become reality : Have positive and progressive thought
I have read it so many places that we become what we think .I have even seen these type of people who actually were very capable but slowly and slowly they moved towards failure because they were continuously saying that they were good for nothing ,they cant succeed and on the other hand I have seen people who were mediocre but they became very successful because of their consistent thought .They were consistent in their belief that they would succeed and they succeeded.
How it happened ?

There is a popular documentary ( A small 1 hour movie) .Its name is “The Secret” .You must watch it .This movie says all about what I am discussing here .
This movie says that your thoughts are very powerful. They accumulate and become an energy around you and finally realize into what you think.
So please stop cursing yourself .If you curse yourself then you are actually saying what is actually going to happen with you will be bad .You already decided !
At least dont decide anything bad for you .Its even okay if you dont decide anything and be neutral but at least dont curse or self critcy yourself.You are the unique creation of god.
Just think what ever will be will be good.

Don’t be overtly critic to yourself. Criticizing is good sometimes for self correction/ self introspection but beyond a limit it becomes extremely dangerous. So, don’t criticize yourself every time something goes wrong. First think about yourself, then about other things. If your mere existence is on the verge of collapse, the first thing is to pamper yourself, have compassion for yourself.
Helping others : Offer help to whom those have less
Seems weird but it works, Help those people who are under privileged, lack resources badly, orphan, old, abandoned, When you help these people, you will know how much god has given to you which is not available to others. You will have a feeling of fulfillment when you solve other’s problem. Its divine and it works.
Spend more time with those with whom you feel safe:
For some time talk to those people whom you like and trust. They necessarily need not to be capable of fixing you but they should be good listener and well wisher and not judgmental of you. Try to be independent as soon as possible,you just need their company for some time.
Spiritual growth too helps in certain ways :
Spiritual growth raises your mind to the level when these things stop bothering you.If you practice spirituality to a certain level then success and failure become meaningless for you. They just remains words.
Meditation and relaxation : Mental and physical exercise
Meditation improves focus and relaxation exercises make your body fit .
Have pets:
It helps to have pets as you can trust them and love them without any doubt. Its okay if you dont like pets .
Have proper sleep:
Have proper sleep, minimum 8-10 hours.Initially you can take pills then try to avoid them.People do big mistake by being habitual of sleeping pills. Have Healthy Food:

I have seen those people more prone for depression who are mostly inside ( home sick or all the time in office ). Make sure that you have sufficient fresh air and sunlight.

Generally people stop working because they loose interest in everything.I want to tell you nothing greater healer than work.
Start working again on your goal but change the size of the tasks you are taking. Tasks are the smaller peaces of work to achieve the ultimate goal. Take baby step again but take!. You dont need to conquer the world immediately and believe me small steps matter more than bigger once.

Some one else is playing this game, He governing this drama. Even a leaf doesn’t move without his wish, He is creator, destroyer and executer , everything he does. Then what right or wrong you have done?
Nothing
Don’t blame yourself. Neither be over excited when you achieve something nor be extremely sad when you loose any thing or everything because it was never yours .You was just care taker for some time ,today somebody else is, tom tomorrow again you may be, Or may be not be, Why to worry if nothing is real. Even this sorrow is not real.You are just realizing it because you are within it. Come out of it and think then you will know that what you was feeling was not real.
